A lesson at Bridges, step by step.
Students first understand English through actions, pictures, objects, stories and teacher modelling. They begin speaking when they are ready and then use the language in games and real communication.

- 03They repeat useful words and phrases out loud once they are ready.
- 04Younger students: actions, pictures, objects, rhythm, movement and stories.
- 05Older students: opinions, role-play, interviews, real-life situations and conversation tasks.

Lessons run in English — you don't need Hebrew to teach with Bridges.
Education and English level
A recognized academic degree is required. Applicants must have fluent & native English language and demonstrate excellent spoken and written communication skills. Teaching experience and experience working with children are an advantage.
Roles and placements
Bridges recruits qualified teachers for a range of full-time and part-time roles in schools across the Negev. Placements depend on current program needs. Details are discussed individually with suitable candidates.
