Our Story
Bridges Institute was founded in 2014 with a quiet conviction: that English, taught with care and authenticity, can open lives. From a single classroom in Be'er Sheva, we have grown into a regional program serving thousands of students each year.
Today, we partner with the Israeli Ministry of Education, regional municipalities, schools, and community centers across the Negev — bringing qualified English-speaking teachers into classrooms that span Arab and Jewish communities alike.
Every program we build is held to one standard: would a student walk away feeling more capable, more curious, and more connected than when they arrived?

Who can apply.
Education and English level
A recognised academic degree is required. Applicants must have fluent or near-native English. Teaching experience and experience working with children are an advantage.
Roles and placements
Bridges recruits qualified teachers for a range of full-time and part-time roles in schools across the Negev. Placements depend on current programme needs. Details are discussed individually with suitable candidates.
